Magical Mestia, Georgia - Caucasus Pearl
We absolutely loved being in Mestia! A team of bright engineers from different fields came together to help the local community build a Water Treatment Plant. We felt inspired to begin this worthy cause and were looking forward to pulling our effort to help as many people as possible. Every problem we worked to solve, only strengthened us as individuals and as a team, while we were well aware that the efforts we put would positively change the lives of many people living in Mestia, where we had come to work.
Have you ever pictured engaging in an activity that transforms the lives of humanity for good? Well, that is exactly what I got to experience having been involved in the design and construction of the Mesta Water Treatment Plant in Georgia. Not only we got the chance to assist the Mesta people in accessing fresh water but also got the chance to be in a wonder village and interact with the villagers, mighty Svans!!!
Of course, it is hard to work in high altitudes, yet this is what makes it more exciting. We had our fair share of challenges, and we managed to do it as a team, and the results of our efforts were very visible to the people. Working on this particular project has taught valuable lessons regarding the importance of teamwork, finding solutions to the problems and the community itself.
Therefore, I encourage, if you ever have a similar opportunity, do not hesitate to take it up. It might be long and hard, but the joy and happiness that you will get as a result will make it worth it.
In case you visit Mestia during the season of winter, buckle up for an exhilarating ride drowning in snow with these amazing videos! Enjoy Mother Nature as well and face the joy of overcoming different obstacles. You will learn how to be confident and tough as you pass through the wintry landscape. Welcome the challenge, appreciate the experience. Let these camera footages invigorate you to do things that you would ordinarily not consider doing. You can do it!
Isn't it great to think that while you climb further up the Caucasus mountain, it brings nothing but joy to your heart? Almost as if you are in some fantastical story, how great! The colors of the world, without exception put on optimism and all the things which seemed impossible, in fact, are possible. Or rather, it appears as if you have been transported to a land where you can explore anything and everything; a land filled with many thrilling adventures. It feels all worth it in this appreciation of the present moment and all the beauty that it comes with.
Droning shots over WTP Mestia is simply out of this world! We are totally excited to have been engaged in this project and the final outcome couldn’t be more satisfactory. Just looking at the beautiful landscape and the effort that was put into this project, makes us so happy and appreciative.
What a great feeling to be involved in!
